Can someone please explain why the review section never gets updated, and the glitch with one person's picture next to all the "most" helpful reviews?

We, as members, are normally checking out reviews BEFORE we buy in order to decide if a product is right for us or worth buying.  At this point, since with rare options TB is insanely behind in updating products offered by most brands, this site is no longer my first stop to check out a product.  No product that I have been interested in that has come out this Spring and now into the summer, has even been listed on this site.  Folks, for those of you who DO want answers prior to purchasing, try MakeupAlley first.  I am just so frustrated with this site these days......sigh.

I really, REALLY appreciate you all sticking with us during this transitional phase. I promise we'll have the reviews section updated as soon as we can. Please know we're working on a ton of projects right now (and our staff is smaller than you might think!) so it may take some time -- but we'll get there. Thanks again, you guys rock!

I've found Totalbeauty to really,really glitchy lately and it's driving me nuts. I hardly get on here anymore because of the glitches....and the ADS. They're are soooooooo many ads, I can't believe it. Most of the time when I'm trying to look at a page, a big full screen add comes up and I have to close out of it. The part that drives me crazy is that totalbeauty never used to be like this, and I've been on here for 2 years. I get that it's a BUSINESS and the TB staff wants to make money, but including a bunch of ads just makes me mad that I can't just LOOK at the page I'm on, and not worry about dealing with a bunch of ads in things I'm not even interested in.

I agree with Aly for the same reasons.  I've been a member for 4 years, and the new site does have some improvements over the old.  BUT, like she said there are so many glitches and ads.  It makes the site run slow.  I know they need the ads to keep the site free, but do they have to be so big, filling the whole screen?  That's why I come on here occasionally only.

When I logged in awhile ago, it said I have "3 new replies" to my discussions.  It turned out they weren't new; I viewed them the last time I was on here.  It's like it didn't recognize that I was logged in?

Also, I haven't been getting any responses to my discussions or concerns in the TB Central forum anymore, the one for feedback.

I can't even name how many brands are obscenely outdated on this site.  Almay, E.L.F. and those are just 2.  Its gotten to the point where TB is NOT my first stop when I research reviews.

You are so right. Or at least list the products so we can review them if we want. Or give us a way to add the products to your database.
