Makeup
The only time i've had airbrush makeup done was for my senior prom and it was phenomenal! I loved the way it looked like there was no makeup on but I looked awesome. This look is something I cannot achieve with any other makeup obviously, but seems to work best with my skin. I've recently been seeing on Sephora that you buy airbrush makeup kits for home and was wondering what you at Total Beauty thought of them because they are pricey, but they're probably cheaper than how much I spend on makeup every year trying to find the right products. What do you think? Is something that should be used every day or just for special occasions?

I hope someone who has used this on their own face will reply. I think it would be difficult to do on yourself since you have to close your eyes during application, right? They DO create a beautiful finish, though. They are also kinda pricey. Wouldn't wanna buy one if I can't use it on my own face and I DON'T trust my husband to apply my founation, even though he is a mechanic!
I think the airbrush at home system is not worth it. You are right about having to close your eyes and it is time consuming. I think it is a great system for those people who have makeup people to apply it. You can get a very similar effect by applying a liquid foundation with a brush. If you apply liquid foundation with a good brush, you start at the middle of your face and blend outward, building coverage until you achieve the coverage you want. My favorite product? The Tarte Amazonian Clay Full-Coverage Foundation with SPF 15 with Brush. This is available at QVC and I really think you will like the application and finish!
