Makeup
So a few months ago I CUT my long hair into a layered bob. As some people do, I totally regreted it! Although I think my hair stylist did a great job, it just wasn't for me. A couple of weeks later I was back in her chair begging for extensions!
The main reason I cut my hair was to get rid of all the limp and dead hair. My hair is curly naturally when wet so I wanted the option to style it that way without the tacky straight ends. I researched Biotin for hair growth and thought I'd give it a try.
My hair grew at least 2 inches in 3 months. I had extensions so keeping my hair away from my curling wand and other styling tools and products probably helped! I'm wondering if any of you have tried Biotin or other hair growth supplements?
9 RepliesI've been using biotin for about six months. At first, my hair shed a bit, but after a month I really started to see some improvement. Beware, though. This will make your hair grow EVERYWHERE. I have to shave twice as often as I used to since I've started taking this. My eyelashes are longer, as well, which I really like.
It works, just stick with it! I didn't see results until about a year after taking it, but now my hair is longer than its ever been and I'm so glad I stuck with it!
When I started using Biotin my hair was shoulder length and it only took 6 months to reach bra lenghth. I've gotten my hair cut 3 times in those 6 months and it really made my nail long and harder.
Biotin taken in the form of a pill supplement is wonderful. It helps with thinning hair, and allows hair to grow thicker. I highly recommend!
Thanks so much! I really need to try this! Does it work on alopcia too? I am so going to pick some up!!!
Biotin (and all B Vitamins in general) do wonders at making hair and nails grow. Nothing you apply externally is as powerful as what you ingest internally when it comes to making hair grow (except gentle treatment, of course).
I hope it works, just started taking them.
I've done the same exact thing, I'm gonna try this, thanks :)
