Makeup
I have a question to put out there..does anyone have any advice on how to make your eyes fresh and bright-eyed?! I try to get at least 8 hours sleep a night but still my eyes look dull and sometimes bloodshot... Is it possible for them to be dehydrated? (I drink at least 2 litres of water a day though!) or is there anything that make bring them back to health?!.
thanks for any advice!

For a cosmetic solution, look up Innoxa French Bleu eye drops on amazon. Its what models and photographers use to produce white eyes for pictures.
But I agree, your eyes are probably dry. You can help them from the inside with Neocell hyaluronic acid capsules. Or NeoCell Fish collagen capsules with hyaluronic acid. Great for eye's appearance but also health.
i take a multi vitamin for hair, skin and nails. You can get them pretty cheap at trader joes and wholefoods (under 10$). Also, try drinking green juices. These things should help. Do you get regular excercise?
I deal with this too! It could be a few things.
1. Your eyes might be dry (it doesn't necessarily have to do with being hydrated). I would speak to your eye doctor if this is an on-going thing.
2. You may have allergies (this is my problem). Both indoor and outdoor allergies can cause red, itchy, bloodshot eyes. Taking allergy medicine can help overtime and there are allergy eyedrops for really bad days. However, you don't want to use those everyday, because they can actually cause more redness if you over-use them.
3. You may be allergic to your eye makeup. Try going without it for a few days and see if that helps. Also be sure to clean any brushes or tools that go near your eyes frequently.
4. Try not to rub your eyes. It's really hard not to, but it will only make things worse. Rubbing can actually break cappillaries and make the area around your eyes more red, plus it can cause more irritants to go inside your eyes.
If none of this works I would definitely see a doctor just to make sure there's nothing wrong. Hope this helps!
I had been having that problem too for awhile. Apparently it was allergies, and dry eyes. My eye doctor recommended ones without any bad chemical stuff in it--I think it's Genteal? He also gave me some weird ointment to put on my eyes to help lubricate them, and some drops for the allergies. I'd go to your eyedoctor though just to be sure that's the cause, and what eyedrops they recommend.
Just saw this post and I'm hoping by now you have found a solution for your eyes. If not, I do highly suggest you see an eye dr. and your regular doc. Depending on the severity of the dryness, your eye doc might prescribe Restasis eye drops. If you are getting a good amount of sleep yet sill have tired, bloodshot eyes you could actually have a sleeping condition or be low on certain vitamins. Some things aren't worth playing around with OTC. Good luck!!!
I have this same problem and I havent really found a solution either but for special occasions I use the visine redness relief long lasting drops. They say you cant use these all the times because it can make the problem worse but for special occasions put an ice pack over your eyes (be careful) and then put on the drops you'll look great and well rested:)
yup, I try and get at least 45mins exercise a day in some form..some days is tougher than others but I am pretty good.
vitamins and fish oil capsules sound like a good idea, as does the eye drops, thats exactly what I was looking for to help! thanks for the advice!
thanks so much! I have heard there is drops out there that rehydrate ur eyes? def will look into seeing a doctor about it soon,
