Summer means fun in the sun, but if you're like me, it also means excess shine in your t-zone area. Fortunately there is a new product out from Dr. Hauschka that will combat that excessive shine and not force your friends to wear sunglasses every time they look at your forehead. Melissa Day Cream (valued at $39.95)helps keep shine at bay with ingredients like witch hazel, carrot and lemon extracts. Don't miss your chance to win this warm weather favorite.

As I live in FL, my daytime beauty routine involves making sure I apply, and reapply, sunscreen every time I'll be outside for more than 15 minutes!
I don't wash my face in the morning, so when I get out of the shower, I put on a moisturizing cream with 30+ spf (broad-spectrum) and aquaphor lip balm. While that's soaking in, I get dressed, then do my makeup (light foundation, eyeliner, eyebrow pencil, mascara), give my hair a quick blowdry and swirl it into an easy french twist, and I'm set.
I wake ,Brush my teeth wash my face put my mousterizer,I then determin weather or not too put on uva protection.I then put my face on "make-Up" if Im going any where,if not my routine ends w/mousterizer.
I use Proactiv cleanser, which has little granules in it and works also as a light scrub and exfoliator. I use my foundation as a sunscreen also, since it contains enough SPF for my skin. MAC lip gloss in a coral shade and a bit of black mascara on the tips of my upper lashes and I'm done!
exfoliate, anti-aging serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen

I use the Clairsonic Mia with Cetaphyl for oily skin- morning and night. I don't need to wash my face in the shower after that. In the morning I follow with a light weight moisturizer with an spf 40, eye cream, make up...
Ever since I was very young, I would always wash my face with a cleanser (Noxema when I was little). Taking off makeup and starting out with a fresh face in the morning is important. After using a gentle cleanser, I moisturize my face and neck. When I am well rested, have eaten a good diet, stress is at a minimal and a smile on my face can be what makes me shine.
do sunscreen, need to better cleanse- light makeup when going out
No more soda at all, not even diet. It's been 2 months, no other changes (iced tea or water instead of soda). I've lost 7 pounds, my skin looks better and my teeth no longer are sensitive (I assume it's the acid in the soda that was causing it but who knows).
Oddly enough my BP which runs on the higher side as a rule is in normal range now. Go me! But I will admit it, I soooo miss my Coca-Cola in the later morning. But no more than quitting smoking 2 years ago so I know this will get easier. My key is to have choices available and since water is cheap if you use a filter at home, I now fill a half-gallon container with filtered water and freeze it the night before, fill it to the top the next morning and haul it in my tote bag. That's what I drink at work except for the 1 cup of coffee I refuse to give up ;)
I follow the same routine as many other posters - I slather sunscreen on my face, neck, chest, arms and legs anytime I leave my home. It really is one of the best things one can do for one's skin.
