Makeup
am routine - wash with Dove facial soap for sensitive skin. Use Kiehl's acai toner, Kiehl's serum, Sunscreen, Kiehls' moisturizer, Kiehl's anti wrinkle cream, Yves Roche day cream, L'Occitane masque moisturizer. Then I put on make up and finish with (don't laugh) Preparation H over lines on face. (It really works). I use the cream.
pm routine - same facial soap Retinoil. Wait 2 hours and use Kiehl's serum, Yves Roche night cream, L'Occitane masque cream and the Preparation H ointment instead of cream since it's greasy.
I have found that my deep wrinkles are getting better since I started with the retinoil 3 weeks ago.
I read in a book about using things you already have, and it said people used Preparation H for wrinkles before the advent of all the creams, serums, etc. of today.
I use the creams with the Retinoil at night because Retinoil is drying.
8 RepliesI love Kiehl's products! Haven't started using retinol yet, but probably will soon. Have to pick up some Preperation H as I keep hearing awesome things about it.
Dear Tracy TB - just to let you know, you need to get a prescription from your doctor for retinoil. My Primary Care Physician gave me my prescription without having to go to a dermatologist.
Wow, that's a lot of products! I'm lazy so I'm always trying to pare down my routine and see how few products I can get away with (but I never skip sunscreen!). What's your favorite product or products of the bunch?
Drink plenty of water and fruit juices everyday to keep your skin glowing. Find some healthy skin care tips at http://www.hairstylescut.com/beauty/tips-for-glowing-skin.htm
If u want to trim down this plan and get the same if not better results.
AM: No need to wash face, with all u are doing u should wake -up with clean skin use toner in evening. start with serum let dry, layer your moisturizers then Sunscreen. PrepH OK
PM:Facialwash, Toner, Retinol, serum, night cream. masque cream, and prepH ok
If your plan ever stops working just do an evening with or two with just your retinoil or switch to Glycolic then back to Retinol.
if you use or plan to use anti-aging creams and wrinkle creams, id suggest checking out "http://www.DocsWrinkleCreamReview.org". Very informative website which compares & reviews these creams & their ingredients. pretty neat stuff, if anyone has any other websites that do similar reviews, please share! the more information we have the better buying decision we can all make.
Have not tried retinoil yet. I have heard a lot of good things about it though. What I use to boost the production of collagen on my skin is the Rejuvenating Night Cream from Omorovicza. Works great.
