127 RepliesAlthough I appreciate my mom everyday, I'd love to spoil her on Mother's Day by buying a fresh bouquet of flowers and making brunch for her with my two sisters.
My sister and I can't be with our mom on Sunday, so we decided we'd take her out for an all-day girls day on Saturday! We're going to brunch in the morning (Mimosas anyone?), Mani/Pedi, clearly we'll need coffee at some point, and then Water for Elephants with popcorn and peanut M&Ms! She was thrilled to tears when we told her our plan, and I know it'll be a great day of celebrating her.
I'm going to do whatever my mom wants on mothers day. I do know for a fact she likes to have a nice breakfast so I will definitly be taking her out to eat. Chocolate covered strawberry's are her favorite, so a bunch of those too.
Since I can't be with her on Mothers day I'm sending my mom a box of See's Chocolates (one of her favorites). I know she would love to have this too!
I enjoy pampering my mother for her mother's day gift. I pair up a hair and eyebrow trim with a manicure and pedicure. Otherwise, if there's something specific I overhear her talking about... I definitely try to fit that in!

I spoil my mom by always helping her out, cause she just had knee surgery and hugging and kisses her every time i leave and say I love you too.
I sent flowers
i will be spending mother's day with my mom for the first time in almost 20 years!! it will be a very special day to remember. brunch at a great local bistro and whatever we "moms" decide to do after that
My mother passed away of cancer in 1996 therefor my grandmother has become my best friend, my confidant, and my shoulder to cry on when the days without my mother are the worst. She has encouraged me to continue on with college, stood by my side when I had my son, and has done all the things my mother would have done. I absolutely adore my grandmother who in reality is my mother too. She gives and gives being a pastors wife she is continously helping other, being there for other women and more than often forgetting to do something for herself. I am going to sit and write her a letter to make sure she knows what she has done for me, and how she has made me feel the love she knows my own mother would have gave me. She was my mothers best friend and now has become mine. Spoiling her is not enough for her to understand what a wonderful woman she is. I intend to buy her the most favorite plants because that is one thing that lights up her life. When she can be out there with just her and her plants I watch her eyes light up. On the other hand she deserves this package so she knows the beauty on the inside can glow on the outside. She is amazing and is doing amazing things that she surely isnt getting credit for. This would definitely let her know I see her beauty and so do the people reading this. Please give her this opportunity to see more than just I think so to. God Bless.
My mother, my hero my angel!!!!!
She's in London, I'm in Texas...would it be a good or bad idea to surprise her with ANOTHER GRANDCHILD that day???! D-: hee hee!!!
