She says that it if you have amber tones or flecks of warmth in your eyes, you can likely pull off red hair, but do some research. First and foremost, discuss the change you want to make with your stylist. Go to a wig store and try on red wigs to see if you like the hue on yourself.

Things to keep in mind: Going red is a commitment. Red is the hardest color to achieve (technique-wise) and the hardest to maintain because it fades the fastest of all hair colors. If you are brunette, it's hard to get a true (bright) red hair color, so you will likely have to opt for fine highlights in a red shade applied before an allover auburn hue.

Blake looks great. I have a light red to my brown hair naturally but I've tried lots of different shades of red in the past. I think it does depend on skin tone a lot. I found for my natural fair skin, that auburn/brown shades seemed to look best on me.
