Makeup
I asked this question in another discussion or thread, but since I got no responses I'm starting a new or separate one.
Does anyone else out there find they need to exfoliate some areas of their face more often than others? Or does your skin seem to "evenly" exfoliate? It seems my nose, the area between my brows (not quite on the forehead), and certain areas of my cheeks need more than the rest of my face. The buildup on my nose is especially bad. When I exfoliate, I have to concentrate more on these areas.
8 RepliesI dont think you do..... at least, I don't. I exfoliate about 2 times a week all over my face. I try to exfoliate evenly and not scrub areas more than others. I think if you have some drier areas then maybe you should moisturize those areas more.
Just an idea......:)
Exfoliate more in the areas that need it. I usually need to exfoliate around my mouth/nose/between my brows more than other areas.
I have areas of my face where dead skin tends to congregate (specifically on my forehead between my eye brows). I exfoliate there more than the rest of my face.
Yes I have had that same problem with my nose and chin area. I started sellin Mary Kay and using thier microderm abrasion kit as well as their anti-aging timewise and it has gotten rid of it. I know that people always post these comments only tring to sell but I assure that this has ring true for me. My skin is so soft and smooth I can know wear powder and liqued fondation which I was not able to do before. If you have any intrest or would like to try some samples you can contact me through my website at www.marykay.com/tturnbaugh. Mary Kay products were voted number 1 in customer loyalty, their has to be something to that right?
I used to have the same problem but I still exfoliate my face evenly. I just make sure that I do this twice a week.
I seem to be more dry in my t-zone so I do tend to focus more attention there when exfoliating.
How are you exfoliating, What are you using and how old are you? When we exfoliate we strip our skin and then we expect the skin to rebuild beautifully. To much exfoliating can dry out the skin and therefore accelerate the aging process. Be careful and really hydrate after.
i haven't had one in 30 years i wouldn't know how to act
