Searching for a Foundation that covers Scars ; but doesn't Look like Stage Make-Up !!
I have some acne scars, BUT~~ I have a couple- one that is a little deep and it really bothers me. I was in an accident in the early 90's. I have had some surgery but the scars are still there. right now my skin is going thru so much it's insane. I have to have at least medium coverage before I go outside just to play with my dog. Most of is me but.. That's me.. my skin is sensitive, now I'm getting age spots..eerrrr,,,, and its losing its grip....lol..
I use moisture creams, night creams, serums, firmings, scrubs, u name it. My drawer looks like a flippin drugstore. Every brand every kind of scrub cloth... mask toner. and
my foundation drawer is just as bad. Need one that covers and stays not one that fades and strays.. please help and throw me some ideas..

Would you consider the possibility of investing in an airbrush system? If you can, try going to Sephora and asking for a test run of the Temptu system. You're able to control the coverage with a dial and it does a wonderful job of evening out skin texture. It's a bit pricey, but for the kind of job that it does it might be what you're looking for; it's smudgeproof, waterproof, sweatproof and splashproof in addition to it lasting. :)
Maybe get a medium coverage foundation and a good concealer?
I have a lot of dark spots from acne scars, but only on PARTS of my face. I hate wearing really heavy foundation that looks cakey. I went to the MAC store and the makeupartist set me up with ProLongwear SPF 15 foundation, which is medium coverage, but buildable, and wears well all day long even though my skin is insanely oily. I'm also using the Prolongwear concealer.
