I have naturally dark brown hair and I've been a redhead and I'm now back to blonde... I'll be curious to read what others say, but I DON'T recommend dying your eyebrows.  I tried it once or twice (when I was red), but I found that they looked goofy in a few weeks when my natural brow hair was growing in.  As a blonde now, I keep my eyebrows dark but fill in with an ash/blonde color (when I need to).  You might want to try to do the same -- Just fill in your natural brows with an auburn shade and blend it well.  It may look more natural for you.  Let us know what you decide to do... and GOOD LUCK!   

dawnrager gave some great advice. i have very dark brown hair and dyed it red and my brows look fine dark. i would not advice dying them.

Great advice everyone. I'm on the same page. I would advise not dying them either. I don't dye my hair, but eye browns are a little lighter than my hair and it looks fine. Sometimes for photo shoots I'll pencil them in, but not really.  I think it's pretty normal to have non-matching eyebrows.

Dyeing eyebrows is such a bad idea, I'm sure you've seen it and it's not pretty. I would suggest not dying your hair dramatically lighter but maybe only a few shades. You have to take in account that you can't change your eyebrow color so don't stray too far from it.

i did it!

the color came out more coppery and light than i thought, but i love it!

when i saw myself i almost teared up because it was perfect!!

my eyebrows are still dark, but somehow i like the contrast!

i still have to try the eyebrow pencil advice and that's my next expense (once my wallet recovers from the dye job...yikes!)
