I just started trying out the smokey eye look and I think if you naturally have a heavy eye, a lighter smokey eye might do the trick. Now the way I do it isn't technically considered a true smokey eye, but it's a lighter version and if you're prone to heavy lids it might look good on you.

Also I'd suggest using less eyeliner on the bottom since your tops are stealing the show :)
