Hi. I have severe hair loss. My hair volume has reduced to nearly half of its actual thickness. My hair has split ends and dandruff. A friend of mine suggested a hair loss treatment in Pinewood Natural Health Centre, Toronto. I am planning to book an appointment. But what could be the reason for the sudden hair loss? Could it be some hormonal issue? My periods are not regular. I have thyroid issues also. Is thyroid patients prone to hair loss? I had undergone a thyroid removal surgery 2 years back and I guess my hair fall became worse since then. Has anyone experienced similar problems? How do you tackle this issue? What type of treatment is recommended? Please advise.
