Clueless In Foundation, Press Powder, & Blush... PLZ HELP!!!

I DESPERATELY need help trying to find the BEST possible foundation, press powder, and blush that will give me a "flawless" looking, full-coverage look to my face.
I have been shopping from one drugstore to another and tried every brand out there from L'Oreal's " Perfect Match, Cover Girl's Blendable Match, almost all Revlon the foundations available, Neutrogena's small selection of foundation, and Maybelline's TruBlend.
I spend more times in the "return" section of the stores b/c the foundations I have mentioned above where either too light, too dark, too shiny, or completely broke out my face altogether.
I have "oily to normal" skin; but the colors I have seen available in different foundations either make me look like a total ghost or they leave me with that "horrible" orange line!
I am NOT trying to look for a "pity party;" but I want a foundation that looks gr8 and has hints of a "beige" tone.
I am tried of looking "sickly".
I want to brighten up my entire face and look glowing; but natural.
I heard MAC is a very good foundation; but I didn't want to spend that much money.
At this point I really do not care b/c what I probably would have paid for one foundation at MAC, I wasted on other useless products! :(
I am a BIG fan of Too- Faced Eye Shadows and eagerly anticipating their new foundation coming out, "Born This Way.'
Just in case, I cannot get it, due to demand, I would like to hear other women's thoughts of what there "go to" foundation, pressed powder, and blush that they use ALL of the time.
My skin is sensitive to a degree, it lies somewhere between a fair/medium complexion (I burn than tan in the Summer).
Also, the foundation I would to have should also contain an SPF on it.

I am looking forward to hearing everyone's suggestions!!!!!
Ty so much for reading my post!

I think the problem that is coming up is that you want a glow finish while your skin is oily. Glow finishes usually mean that they are extra moist application. Thus, some of the ingredients might be irritating your skin and blocking your pores. I think you need to stick to satin or matte finish. Specially since your skin does seem to break out. Or you could try a tinted moisturizer or a BB cream which would be moisturizing and have sheer coverage. For the colors I would suggest you go to sephora and understand which type of color blends work for you even if you don't buy one there. It might be that beige undertones don't work for you and you need olive or yellow undertones etc. You only need a press powder to set a non-matte foundation or if your face tends to get oily during the day. There are many great blushes but again more than the brand you need to determine the color you want - pink, peach, orange, red or brown tones. Brown would also be bronzers which can give you a sun-kissed look. Lastly, 1. make sure you apply moisturizer before you apply foundation. The foundation blends better and tends to give more even coverage. 2. Use a brush, blender or sponge to apply and BLEND foundation. It is integral to blend properly for some minutes. 3. If you really want a glowing skin I would suggest investing in a highlighter instead of blush or in addition as per your budget. Good ones give a soft shimmer which makes you look like you hav glowing skin. Hope that helps even though I am a little late!

Hi Tara, I'm sorry your foundation shopping hasn't been successful for you so far! Since you have normal to oily skin, a powder foundation would work best for you. Since your skin produces more oil than dry skin, the powder will help absorb the oils throughout the day. The best way to match a foundation is to test it on your neck. When you apply foundation, you should blend it into your neck, so you will want to pick a foundation that matches the skin tone of your neck. Most beauty counters will help you find your perfect shade if you'd like them to. There are several powder foundations available at different price points. My favorite drug store brand is L'Oreal True Match Naturale Powder. This foundation comes with a nice brush for applying, and you can layer the foundation for fuller coverage. This foundation provides a flawless finish. My favorite higher-end powder foundation is Urban Decays Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder. This foundation is lightweight and buildable as well. It also provides a flawless finish. The plus to this foundation is you can also turn it into a wet foundation for any areas of your skin that aren't as oily, or need more coverage. Using a contour palette can help brighten any areas such as your cheekbones and cupids bow and minimize any shortcomings ( some common complaints of ladies: nose appears too wide or too long, face is too round, etc.) I hope this helps you some!! Good Luck!
