Hi there! 

I have naturally medium brown hair and am about 25% gray.  For the last 4-5 years I have been dyeing it "brown-black" with a permanent hair color every 1-3 months.  I have generally very healthy hair, rarely blow drying or doing styling of any kind because of the job I have.  (I wear a work-related hat everyday so really no need.)  The last time I colored was about 2 weeks ago.

I've just decided that I want to go blonde again for an event I have coming up in March.  I have gone blonde several times in my life, so I am not too worried about how it will look or if I will like it, so that isn't a big concern.  I realize that it can be very difficult to go from my current color to any type of blonde.  I'm wondering if it would be best to use a box of ColorB4 and how soon before an appointment should I do so?  What else can I do to prepare my hair/scalp for my upcoming apt?
