Dealing with humidity for the first time in my life!

I just moved to Louisiana from the Nevada desert and am at my wits end with this thing called humidity. Does anyone have any advice for a foundation that won't melt off my face before lunch time? This is also aggravated by the fact that I tend to have oily, sensitive skin too. I've completely given up on liquid foundations and am trying different powders, but these all seem to be a little too cakey or start to settle into pores/wrinkles later in the day.

Has anyone found a foundation that can beat humidity without going on too heavy (while still providing decent coverage)? Maybe even something for oily, sensitive skin? That would be a dream come true...

I also live in LA humidity, believe me there is nothing like it! I have sensitive skin as well and my T-zone can get pretty oily. I find that a tinted moisturizer works best for me. the Balm Beauty Balm is my go-to product! It covers my redness while giving me a nice dewy finish. It stays on well. I carry blotting papers with me, because, honestly, humidity in Louisiana is a given. I blot and it helps my makeup stay in place. I think you have to try different things and use what works best for you. For me, humidity and powder were NOT a good combo! I would go outside once and my makeup looked cake-y, nobody wants that. I hope this helps!

Yes.. It is really annoying to put makeup during the hot and humid weather. Not only the skin makeup, but the eye makeup becomes to be in a mess too! However, I can’t give up the liquid types of foundation or BB because of their functions to cover the spots or blemishes on my face and brighten the skin tone. Therefore, I am using a pore primer after I put base skin care products, and before I put sunscreen and makeup creams. I am also using a mist that has a function of makeup holding fixer.

Not many people think of Indiana as a humid state, but it can be in the summer. I've been loving Bare Minerals Matte Foundation topped with Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray and Tarte Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder.

It is quite difficult to do makeup in humidity as the makeup does not last long in humidity. So, I would recommend preferring for the dry makeup.

I feel you! Exactly the same.
