When I read "bold lip" the very first thing that came to mind was a classic cat eye. Start with a very light shadow or skip the shadow all together and focus on a well-defined upper lid using black cream or gel liner. I use the e.l.f. cream liner. If you do not own a brush, it comes with a little one.

The ''Cat Eye'' is classic and ALWAYS goes great with a bold lip!! The great thing about ''Cat Eyes'' is that you can wear an amazing lip color, or just lip gloss, and it still looks awesome.. Oh, and a tip that I do for mine, I use a very smooth pencil liner, and then lightly cover it with black eye shadow with a little brush, and it makes it so much smoother looking, and it lasts a lot longer too!
