I have extremely thick hair. When I get my hair dyed at the salon, they ALWAYS have to leave half way to refill their product. Don't get me wrong, I love it for what it is, and I understand people with thin hair would kill for my hair, BUT it's such a pain...

Yarrow, lemon, chamomile and rose essential oils support hair growth and reduces hair loss. I have read this in a blog by Better Living, this blog also explains the advantages of other essential oils. Do read this if you get some time.
Here, I am giving you the following tips, which are: 1. Massage your hair with essential hair oils like olive, coconut, almond, mustard, jojoba and black seed oil. 2. Do not use products having harsh chemicals 3. Make loose hairstyles 4. Drink enough water 5. Take enough sleep 6. Eat healthy food especially those food items that contain zinc and vitamin E
Your hair sounds lovely and I can understand why you love it. Mine is short and very thick and I was introduced to Pro Naturals, a hair repair system, by my hairdresser. She pointed out to me that in order to keep my hair healthy I needed to use a product to kind of give it a boost and protect it against my use of heat tools. What is great about this system is that it allows you to use a drugstore brand, if that is what you want, for 5 weeks and use Pro Naturals for 1 week. Mind you I do cheat - I use the argan oil leave in treatment after every shampoo/condition day, it is non greasy and added to the ends of my hair and half up the shank is all that is required to keep away any static and definitely no split ends.
