Today's beauty community (youtube, facebook, twitter, tumblr, instagram, etc.) is so over saturated with gurus that it is so hard to find those blogger/s/guru's that are passionate about what they do! I am not trying to bash, but so many do it for the benefits of getting free things and special offers. So what has happened to those who are passionate of what they do? I've had a dream of becoming a beauty blogger & guru since 2008! I wanted so bad to post beauty and fashion blogs and videos and giving advice and tips to other girls but I was just too shy. I was scared of rejection and hate. But over the years I have expanded my courage and decided to follow my dream!
3 RepliesJust go for it... for most bloggers it about growing and learning new tips and tricks and sharing with others not just freebies. It takes time and patience to get to that level where you receive freebies or money for reviews and tutorials. If it want you want to do go for it. You never know until you try...
I don't think I can give you advice really, but I can say go for it! What will it hurt? The only thing it can hurt is wasting your time. I've been a YouTube beauty guru almost 6 years(started in 2008) and I still don't have a big following. I don't care though because I love everything beauty and I'm self taught by using YouTube. So as long as I reach a handful of people that really enjoy my videos then I think making them is worth it! I'm Brittany Bleaux, iCRAiZ on YouTube! Make you a channel girl and just go with the flow!
