Makeup
I turned 30 when I noticed that my concealer is settling into the fine lines underneath my eyes. Most recently, I was using CoverFX cream concealer. However, I read reviews where people mentioned that that the thick consistency of the concealer might be the culprit, so I switched to Maybelline DreamLumi concealer. I made sure to apply both concealers with a brush as I was told that applying product
with your fingers might cause excess oil which would lead to creasing. I still had the same creasing issue, and had even applied Napoleon Perdis mattifying mineral primer after both concealers. I then tried swithing to a powder concealer, Bare Escentuals' Well Rested eye brightener. Unfortunately nothing has worked :( I am thinking that applying a silicone primer before my concealer might help but I'm not sure. I'm really hoping that someone can recommend a concealer or primer that might help.
5 RepliesI like YSL's "Touche Eclat" and Dior's "Diorskin Nude Skin Perfecting Hydrating Concealer." They have moisturizers and light-deflecting ingredients to enhance the area around your eyes. You may want to think twice about using powder around your eyes, no matter how much silicone it has (such as MUFE's High-Definition Powder). I recall some famous actresses saying many years ago that powder around the eyes will always call attention to any creases, no matter how tiny. I've found that to be true with myself. If I can be of any more help, please let me know. Good luck!
Christian Dior's "Skinflash" Radiance Booster pen is even silkier than YSL's "Touche Eclat." I can't tell it from my own skin. Maybe this will help. A silicone primer can't, but the more products you add in that delicate area, the more likely you will call attention to any creases.
Cinema Secrets, its seriously amazing.
Where do you get this?
Please tell me about the line--I'm very curious!
