Botox for Wrinkles, is it a Good Idea?
Aging is one of the most discussed issues in the world of cosmetics and fashion. The main idea behind these discussions is mainly how to beat the process. Success has not yet been achieved. However, many processes, procedures, and means have been developed to reduce the rate at which the aging process takes place. In fact, the means used are capable of reducing your age in regards to your physical appearance to half. Botox is one of the ideas and one of the procedures that people follow and use towards reducing the appearance and formation of wrinkles on their skin. The procedure has however sparked a lot of discussion on whether it is a good idea to proceed with the process or not.
Botox: What it is and how it works?Botox is a drug that is commonly prescribed from drugs stores, pharmacies, etc. It can be prescribed by doctors or physicians. It can be administered by anyone who has the knowledge on how to use it. This includes people, who own beauty parlors or clinics and have the capability of using the prescription drug or you can follow online instructions provided. It is a wrinkle care drug that is injected into the skin with the aim of reducing the appearance and eliminating the presence of the wrinkles that have already been formed. It is also proactive as it prevents the formation of new wrinkles of the skin.
Botox works by reducing the flexibility of the nerves in the body or the area in which the Botox has been applied. The nerves responsible for ensuring the normal contraction of body muscles, which result in a creased and wrinkle full skin functionality is limited. This results in a more smooth and firm skin preventing the possible appearance of wrinkles.
CompositionBotox contains a chemical whose use is said to relax a facial muscle or whenever it is injected. This, in turn, results in the elimination of the likelihood of creasing of the skin, which causes wrinkles achieving the objective. Botox is composed of botulinum which a potential bacterial neurotoxin and can be lethal or have adverse side effects if not used the right way. Care should be practiced in the use of this toxin and especially when used as a Botox.
Good Idea or NotThe use of Botox has been said to have positive effects. In fact, the appearance of wrinkles is said to disappear for four to six months. This is a long period to have a smooth, even toned and above all wrinkle free skin. Furthermore, each person today aims at working against the clock, which means a smooth, youthful and younger skin appearance is a welcome thought. The issue stands on whether the issue is a good idea or not. To determine the essentiality and importance of this process, it is good to look at the side effects and possible impacts that the use of the prescription drug may have on you as an individual.
The side effects experienced include headaches, skin-bruising resulting in scars that look quite ugly and may require treatment in some cases, pain, and uncomfortable feeling on the specific place the injection was done and on the excessive, drooping eyelids including eyebrows. The condition is not permanent but takes longer to return to normal i.e. months, which can be described as semi-temporary. Other conditions involve special needs and pregnant women who are not allowed to use the botox treatment and procedure without seeing a doctor or a physician first. After enrolling for the treatment or procedure, there are limitations that are included about your lifestyle or personal health. This may involve prescriptions of health supplements in adverse cases etc.
VerdictThe positives and negatives of using this specific wrinkle care process have been provided. If it were up to me, I would suggest against its usage as aging is a normal process. Time won’t stop after using the Botox drug, and certainly, after a short while, you will require undergoing the process again to maintain the look. With the extensive side effects associated not mentioning addiction and other changes that the drug may have on your body after all it is a drug, I believe that is not worth the hassle.
ConclusionWe all have different opinions regarding the use of the Botox, and everyone is entitled. Making an informed decision is the best solution in this case. That is why we are providing you with the necessary information.

Botox can be a good idea for those who have deep wrinkles but not for those who have just few fine lines. For less wrinkles one can prefer for the anti-aging creams available in the market.
