Adovia dead sea mud mask great for your skin fact or fail?

ok when doing reviews we always look at the facts and fails more like the pro's cons and inbetweens however sometimes a product is just getting in the move and no one knows actually what it is or where it came from that is exactly what has been going on with the cleopatraschoice line at cleopatraschoice.com the thing is there are so many woman and men and there just isnt enough said about there products, so with a little help and product in hand i decided to do my first review on here of them now mind you i have done reviews of there other products and this one too but sometimes there is more to say about a product than meets the eye, so sitting down and not at my desk, regretfully i have yet to get my hands on a tiny desk yet however that is neither here nor there, back to facts not only does the product come in a cute bluish and white box with the Adovia logo on it but that is also on the inside tube, now to get this open isnt as easy as flip the lid! they did take the time to actually put in this seal which if broke you are supposed to let them know so they can replace it because of contaminants that could get into it and harm your skin no huge deal right? wrong if you knew how much that box and tube goes through before it gets from there door to yours you would be happy about that seal, and if that isnt the cream of the crop what lies inside that actual tube is the most important. ok lets start inside this white tube with blue logo and line that says Adovia is a thick rich brownish black mud from the dead sea, now this mud is actually made in the lab of adovia not stolen from, the dead sea goodness NO! now remember all the good salts and minerals and vitamins in the dead sea are actually in this mud thankfully in this mask as well, but if that doesn't actually get you to want to try it there are hundreds of reviews that have claims that even make myself go excuse me!?!?!?!?! so now to my review after you apply the mud to your face and i recommend a brush you can get a concealer flat brush if you really want to for a dollar elf makes a good one you can use, and you want to apply it a bit thick, now i dont mean stick your face in a cake thick no but close enough, don't use it sparingly this isnt a face cream! now comes the wait i would suggest reading a book, playing your favorite video game, surfing the web anything because the dry time on this is anywhere from 5 minutes to about a half hour so make sure to do this when you can relax, ok once it is dry it will turn a greyish white colour not a huge deal, the huge deal is this it may flake off so dont go squishing your face or making weird face expression or you will make a mess to clean up, also it does tighten when on so dont panic if you can not move your face without huge effort. Now for the best part. not only does it not smell but the bad issue is it DOES stain your wash cloth, what? it's MUD! so don't freak out and don't try to scrape your face off or use a chisel its not going to help, best way to take it off is take a wash cloth you never will use again for anything but this and make it wet and i mean wet, not damp not a bit wet, i mean soak it! in warm water there is a reason you want when you go to take this off your pours to open up here is how to do that take the now soaked wash cloth and place it on a patch of the mud that is on your face dried, this is how i do it just fold it until i get one square of the wash cloth soak it in warm water a little warmer then normal but not scolding hot and not luke baby warm either, then i press that square to my face i start with my cheek. I let it sit until i feel the heat on my cheek and my cheek yet again feels wet then i wring it out and continue that pattern until my whole face is again wet and wait a few minutes or you can use a blow dryer on cold your choice. now there is a reason i do it when you open your pores you get out black heads, dirt, grime, gunk and what have you that sits in your face in your skin! Now when it cools down your pores will close here is where the fun part comes in when they close the mud has already sucked up all the oils and dirt and what have you into itself so your pores are now clean. Again you will want to take that wash cloth and wring it out and rinse it well in now cool water, then fold it into a square again, now here it doesn't have to be soaked just wet, when its wet you want to start to take off the mask but don't rub your skin to harshly you want to move the wash cloth in a circle pattern upwards so you don't cause undo stress to your relaxed skin. once that is completely done and your face is clean, go ahead and rinse it again with cold water and take a nice soft towel and pat your skin dry, do not rub. Now if you did everything like i said your skin should feel as good as mine does everything i use it. soft as a baby's butt and you may even look younger! If you want to add an extra boost put some in a bowl and add 2 to 3 drops of peppermint oil to the mask just to freshen your skin. I have rated this mask a 10 out of 10 when used correctly it does what it really says it should do, there is just one thing i wish, the whole product was encased in plastic and not just a pull tab under the cap other than that it's a win win, oh and i forgot to mention i have used it on a man already and WOW! here's to that baby soft skin we always wanted! < Previous Post Next Post >
