Urban Decay "On the Run" Review

This was a little bit of a splurge for me, and wow am I glad I spent the money. It's technically a good value as Urban Decay products go, but spending $54 (just before Christmas 2014) on a set that I don't really "need" is not usually my style. Turns out this was an amazing investment. This set has everything I need and while I use it whenever I'm in the mood for a great nude look, it is especially my go to for travel because it makes packing so much easier! The set includes a Naked gloss in a shade only available as part of the set, bronzer, blush, six eye shadows, mascara, and a liner in a shade that is also exclusive to the set. Every single shade is amazing! I don't even know how to describe the color of the liner--it's dark and I can't tell if it's brown or purple or what, but it is gorgeous and really brings out my brown eyes. The shadows are a little soft and there is some fallout, but it cleans up easily with a tissue. I also think their softness helps them blend, because these are so incredibly easy to blend into a soft, gorgeous look. The mascara is Urban Decay's Perversion which I didn't expect to like because I'm so picky about mascara, but I'm really impressed with this one! I haven't used the bronzer much yet because it's not a product I normally use. The blush in this set looks like it might be too bright, but it blends beautifully into a natural glow. When I travel I grab this, my Urban Decay pressed powder and Primer Potion, and my brushes and that's all I need for makeup.
