Shadow Primer!

Oh man. I use shadow primer (currently Urban Decay Primer Potion) so regularly, I sometimes start to take it for granted. Even when it's not the best at keeping my shadow in place, it does wonders for the intensity of the shadow color! It really increases the bang for your buck on any eye shadow. So yeah, I was in a rush and feeling lazy this morning so I rushed through my makeup routine. I spent barely any time on my blush and skipped shadow primer to go straight for a cream eye shadow I thought would be great on its own (Benefit--one of the shades they discontinued). I don't put on lipstick until I get to work, and happened upon a mirror before I'd had a chance to do so. I was shocked by the lack of color in my face! It honestly very nearly looked like I hadn't put makeup on at all. Adding lipstick helped a bit of course, but in the future I'll definitely take the time EVERY time to put primer on my lids before my eye shadow. < Previous Post Next Post >
