I like using black matte nail polishes- I use Julep's Cleopatra and so far I haven't experienced any problems with staining, but typically I go to my comfort zone with any variety of pink. However, I definitely love the black matte look because it's extremely sophisticated and I use it for special occasions.

I like black, but I find it difficult to find a brand that won't stain your nails... It's partially mu fault though because I often don't use any base on my nails, which is a must in this case, I guess... But yes, in spite of it sounding strange, black can often be very flattering and even sophisticated somewhat...

Depends on the season. Normally a basic color like black, blue, purple or red. I also like the ombre nail look.
