Supreme Protein Review
from Helmi's blog
I decided to buy Supreme Protein meal bars upon finding a great discount and seeing that each has 30g protein per serving, 10g more than most supplement bars. The Peanut Butter Crunch and Caramel Nut Chocolate flavors went into my shopping basket.
Peanut Butter Crunch contains a wafer cookie covered in chopped peanuts and chocolate. It was surprisingly dry and chalky. I couldn't take a single bite without it crumbling into pieces. Not helpful for something you want to eat during a workout or on-the-go.
I thought Caramel Nut Chocolate would be better since it has no dry wafer cookie. It was, but only slightly. The caramel made it a bit softer, but the rest of bar was still dusty, gritty and crumbly. Not so good.
I'll just go back to Met-RX and Promax bars. They have a similar price, nutrition but much better taste.
