Olay Pro X - BUST!

I was so happy to purchase this product after doing a little research. Instead of splurging for the Clarisonic at about $130, I opted for the Olay Pro X at about $30. Purchased the product in March, and used it at least once daily. After using it for only 5 months, it's dead! I've followed all the instructions as far as taking care of it, replacing the batteries, etc. Unfortunately, I did some online digging and found that I'm not the only one to experience a very short life span with this product. It's too bad, because I was actually obsessed with this thing. It really did the trick and deep cleaned my face the way it needed to be. If I purchase another one, that will make my total investment in the Olay Pro X at $60, which after buying 2 would still be half the price of the Clarisonic. I think I'm going to give it one more chance, maybe. Does anybody have any feedback on this item?
