SPARKLE / GLITTER Nail Polish........HOW DO YOU GET IT OFF EASILY?

I love the way sparkle/glitter  nail polish looks on toes (especially with a cute pair of sandals) But, OMG how do you get the stuff off? Nail polish remover just removed the color part (which was lilac) and left all the silver glitter.  Looked like I had TIN FOIL on my toe nails. I had to take an emery board & file it off. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions?

You need to find a good nail polish remover. I use OPI remover or off brand one from Target should work but it will take a few tries and use cotton ball or cotton sheet not tissue.

Try different brands to find an easy one to take off...

I actually agree with noellenyny8403 below, acetone is the best and fastest way to remove stubborn glitter and nail art, but it is very drying so use it sparingly and apply cuticle oil to replace the lost moisture. Hope this helps!

I think it may be the brand, I haven't had an issue. I usually soak in polish remover, if its that bad I would try using acetone like what they use at the nail shops but definitely don't make it a habit because it really dries your skin and strips the nail.
