Looking for a good waterproof mascara...

Hi everyone, this is my first time writing a blog but I have been on the hunt for a good waterproof mascara (from the drugstore).  I currently use Maybelline full and soft in waterproof and its really great but real natural looking.  Sometimes I would like a little more drama though.  I use waterproof because they are the only ones that hold my curl.  I wish I could wear a non waterproof that would hold my curl but I haven't found any that do and I have tried quite a few.  So I would like to know what's a really good waterproof mascara for a dramatic look but one that is also good for preventing lash loss.  I have tried covergirl lashblast volume (I lost lots of lashes trying to wash this off),  Maybelline lash discovery (another natural looking one),  loreal voluminous carbon black and loreal 24h power volume collagen (looked great but both smudged a lot) all in waterproof ... I know I sound picky but I'm just wondering if there are any good ones that are great for volume, don't smudge and wont make me loose too many lashes.

Try Benefit's They are real mascara. They have a good water-proof mascara.

I am not sure how to delete this, but update! I have given up on waterproof! lol I will use it once in a while in case I really need it but I am just getting tired of having to remove it every night. Sometimes I just want to wash off my face quickly and get to bed! I actually found that heating up my eyelash curler helps holding my curl and I have found some great washable mascaras :)

Ah never mind I did mention it whoops but I saw great reviews about it And what's why I got it, but unfortunately didn't give me that much volume, I usually only put on one coat with mascaras for fear of them clumping. But I am going to try to coat my lashes a second time like you said, and see if I build it up it might give me more volume. I use it a lot for my bottom lashes but I will give it another try with a second coat on my top lashes. thanks so much!

Oh I have lash discovery! it is pretty good, ah I forgot to list it there but I do like it, I especially love it for my bottom lashes. Every time I find something good I always swear I will stick with it but in time I see new things come out and wonder if they are better then what I have haha. But thanks GiGi!

The tip about Vaseline is wonderful. Lashes do not always grow back, so please handle with ultimate care.

This has been a question I've been pondering since you first posted it. I had to smile; Maybelline's "Full and Soft" was the first mascara which came to mind. L'Oreal "Voluminous" was also a thought, but it can smudge. I have scant lashes and am really and truly pleased with Maybelline's "Lash Discovery" waterproof mascara. It doesn't promise extreme or length, but the beauty of this mascara is the wand. It finds and coats every single lash, whether on the bottom or top, and holds a curl WONDERFULLY! When you can cover all of your lashes a second time and they remain pliable, you will automatically have more drama. You're not being "picky;" I think we're all on the hunt for a mascara which will create miracles. If you saw my vanity and makeup containers, you'd be shocked. I hope this works for you. I love it and paid only about $5.00. Check out the reviews on this site describing it.

I actually have a tip that you can use to remove ALL mascaras some may need a little more of an effort but its definitely worth it. The secret is Vaseline. Coat your lashes in vaseline and leave it on for a few minutes the longer the easier it is to take off. I used the exact same covergirl mascara and it was awful to take off until I used the vaseline but this will for sure work!! I hope this helped you keep your favorite mascara.
