All-natural, DIY facial toner and hair rinse
I've been diving into a lot of DIY, all-natural products lately -- both to save money and to rid myself of unnecessary chemicals that many of our body and skincare products have.
I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar makes a great facial toner, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm happy to report that it DOES, in fact, work wonderfully! I mix equal parts vinegar and water and put it in a travel-size bottle. After washing my face, I use a cotton ball to rub it all over my face (including my eyelids). I find that it balances the pH of my skin and my normally oily-by-lunchtime face isn't as slick as of late!
The vinegar smell disappears a minute or two after applying.
I also use apple cider vinegar and white vinegar (again -- mixed with equal parts of water) in a spray bottle in the shower as a bi-weekly "finishing rinse" to help thoroughly clean the product build-up in my hair. The spray leaves my hair shiny and clean without over-drying it. Rinse with cool water before exiting the shower. Again, the vinegar smell will disappear within a few minutes (and by the time you finish your makeup and hair routine).
Give apple cider and white vinegar a try. They're cheap and are amazing for your skin and hair (and ALL NATURAL!).

I'm going to give this a try because I've heard this a few times before.
