H&M Nail Polish Trio
H&M Nail Polish Trio
Last month I had a little lunch date with fashion blogger, IndulEra, in which we made a little trip to H&M where I picked up a mini nail polish trio for under $5! I didn't need it, of course, but it was so cute and hey, only $5! Well, I'm glad I picked it up because these shades turned out to be unique in my collection - purchase justified ;)

Each bottle in the trio is .1 fl oz / 3.2 ml. The brushes are pretty good for how short they are, they are narrow but still fan out a bit when you are applying the nail polish. The trio retails at $4.95 (so that's about $1.65 per polish - not bad for minis. This is the perfect Independence Day nail polish trio. The shades include Metallic Grey, Metallic Blue, Spark Me Up.

Metallic Grey is a silvery grey shimmer polish. It is fully opaque in two coats and has a nice, shiny finish without a top coat. I don't own many silvers or greys in my collection, so this one definitely stands out.

Metallic Blue is a slightly metallic navy blue with itty bitty silver specks in it. It applies kinda streaky and thin - needs either 2 generous coats or 3 average coats to be completely opaque. This is unique to my collection as well, so I'm glad I got it in this trio.

Spark Me Up is a clear based polish with silver, blue and red tiny glitters. One coat gives you a really good coverage - like a sprinkled-cupcake type of coverage. I prefer these types of glitter polishes as toppers on solid colors. You can amp up the SPARK-age (LOL) with three coats and get a really festive look going. I love the 1-coat look on bare nails, but the 3-coat look using both of the metallic shades is so much fun!
