New spring hair
Well, I FINALLY got that haircut and now I can color my hair. They did a great, professional color at the salon but $75 x 12 wasn't making me very happy. As a natural blonde, I aways use an Ash because it keeps my hair from getting brassy. I don't know anyone personally who has used Garnier color, but I DO want to try it. Without driving around, Walgreen's only had light, light ash blonde and I didn't want to go that far. I stuck with my tried and true L'Oreal, 100% grey coverage that always leaves my hair soft;light ash blonde. I have so many different colors in my hair, I always get the greatest highlights! I have white, in front (2 streaks of white,on each side of the part) and on the sides. Then goes to salt/pepper and dirty, dishpan grey. Oh no! Came home and fooled around with the cut - a layered/shagged, round bob. I can piece the sides and kept bangs. Can put a side part or no part. A new girl(for me) did my hair and I believed a friend, when she said she liked it. Once I get the color in tonight, I'll post a pic. I have trouble uploading my pics- maybe more times than not.
A new cut is always inspirational. Never get a cut without your make-up on. Especially, if your one of us older girls. The make-up adds so much more to your face and the way the people view you and dress a little better. I think, giving a best impression is better, when stepping into a salon. With the new spring season arriving, a new cut gives you a lift. Your clothes look better. If you're shopping, your clothes look better. I feel more inspired putting on make-up, the "I need a pedicure" really comes into view. I even feel better doing laundry. A new cut in spring makes me feel like I'm in bloom!
