Aromafloria Muscle Soak Line: My P90X Savior

Diet is absolutely not in my vocabulary (no surprise, really, as cupcakes is part of my blog name). The very word diet makes me cringe. I mean really, who can bare the thought of swearing off cupcakes, chips and queso, and Haagen Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream? Indeed, I’m definitely a foodie and dessert enthusiast with a full-blown passion for all things yummy. Now, I’m not suggesting consumption of your favorite junk foods with wild abandon, but I am a firm believer that if you hit the gym routinely, you can occasionally indulge in the stuff that’s found on the top of the food pyramid list (thus, my love-hate relationship commitment to exercise). I have a DVD arsenal that reads like the who’s who of fitness gurus: P90X, Tracy Anderson, Jillian Michaels, Brook Burke, and Dancing With The Stars Ballroom Buns & Abs. (What? It’s all about tango-ing my way to a firmer tush.) As the saying goes, no pain, no gain, right? Bring on the calorie torching (so that I may have that mini cupcake later)…
So, with hard-core calorie burning comes some seriously sore muscles. Ah yes, those lunges and burpees deliver the calorie-melting goods, along with a big dose of achy muscles. And I’m not sure if my constantly distressed muscles are a testament to my exercise intensity or the fact that I need to work on my endurance, but either way I recently decided to find a line of goodies to soothe my muscles post gym sessions.
