Freeman Beauty Pssssst Instant Dry Shampoo Review
Today I’m going to share my opinion on the Freeman Beauty Pssssst Instant Dry Shampoo. I really liked their mask that I tried a few weeks ago, so I was pretty excited to try this – also I had never heard of dry shampoo before about 6 months ago – and had still never tried it – so I wanted to see how it would work
In case you are like me and are unfamiliar with dry shampoo, the idea behind it is to add a product that absorbs oil to your hair, and then to remove that product once the oil is absorbed. They have figured out a few different solutions to this. Freeman’s solution is an aerosal can that contains Butane, Propane, SD Alcohol 40-B, Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate, Isobutane, Cyclomethicone, Fragrance. (do not smoke, light a candle, cook, or anything with fire) when applying this product. What you are supposed to do is spray it on, wait a few minutes, then brush your hair out.
Does it work? Well I put it to quite the test. Because I have scalp psoriasis I am an every other or every third day hair washer – which usually leaves my hair in a pony tail on day 2 and 3 because it won’t style and just doesn’t look good.
I applied pssssst to my hair as directed. I then put on my makeup. After my makeup was done I brushed my hair. My poor boar’s hair brush sure did see the results of the product. It created a very fine lint like substance that came off my hair and onto the brush when I put it through my hair. My hair looked good though – and it was manageable. I was able to style it normally and no one could tell that I hadn’t just washed and dried my hair.
So impressed was I that I tried it again today. The second day did not leave my hair as easy to style – but it still looked clean so into my ponytail it went – but gosh it was a great looking pony tail.
Would I get it again? Definitely – It is not something I will use often – but in a pinch it can save a lot of time. < Previous Post Next Post >Report blog post as inappropriate
