Nail Care: Peel An Orange
For the past few months my nails have been healing after a bad manicure experiment (which you'll soon learn about in an upcoming review). The damaged section of my nails have finally grown out, and my naturally strong nails are back. During this rehabilitation period, I stumbled across a neat little nail care tip that I and my BF are happy about using often to keep our nails strong and white and our cuticles hydrated and not peeling.
We eat a lot of oranges, and we recently realized that after peeling an orange and eating it with our hands, our nails are significantly whiter, stronger and our cuticles aren't as peely and dry. I tried looking up online what oranges or orange oils do for your nails, and I couldn't really find an exact description of its effect. All I know is that hand peeling oranges works wonders on our nails and we'll continue to keep oranges in our fruit bowl from now on!
