Finding the right foundation!

If you notice in my picture I am a dark-skinned chocolate complexioned woman. I've tried so many liquid foundations and I have yet to find one that doesn't melt, turn my skin even darker (oxidation) after an hour or that is the correct shade. Yes I've tried to determine whether I am cool or warm toned...whether I should use Mac NC or NW shades....trying to find one thats not a muddy red....Still not sure.. Any tips for a woman of my complexion finding the correct shade foundation.

Have you ever tried finding a powder and mixing it with you moisturizer? Apply moisturizer and quickly apply the powder so it sets in. Valana Minerals should have your shade : ) http://www.valanaminerals.com/
