review- e.l.f. glossy gloss in dragon fruit
This lip gloss just made its way into the e.l.f. studio line. Like most products in the Studio line this gloss costs $3. It is kind of a tiny tube, but their is plenty of lip gloss inside for only $3.
e.l.f. can be bought at http://www.eyeslipsface.com/ (their official website) and Target and KMart. Also, they occasionally pop up at Big Lots and Dollar Tree. It seems like these Glossy Glosses are almost always out of stock on the e.l.f. site, so you may have better luck at Target where I picked mine up. They are currently in stock on the e.l.f. site, so get yours FAST.
The color is a nice medium pink cream. No shimmer, no glitter. In fact, none of the Glossy Glosses have shimmer or glitter- they are all creams. I personally think that a cream lipgloss is a great thing to have in your collection because they are a lot easier to pull off- no big glitter or sparkles.
This gloss surprisingly wears very very well, and I can easily get a few hours of wear out of one application- no problem. I was also surprised that this gloss is not sticky to the slightest. It is creamy not sticky. It doesn't feel tacky on the lips, or like a glue stick:)
The tip is a brush tip, and I normally don't like brushes for lip glosses. But, I actually really like this tip for this particular gloss becasue this gloss is not sticky. The brush helps apply it nicely, and it is so thin, I can get into the tiny curves of my lips easily.
The wand is sturdy, and it is not flimsy when I apply the gloss. The brush contours to my lips, and helps get the gloss in the tiniest of areas.
The color selection is nice, and everyone could find a color that suits them well!
Ballet Slippers
Pink Candy
Sweet Salmon
Tangy Tangerine
Dragon Fruit
Wild Watermelon
Muted Mauve
Berry Blush
Funky Fuschia
Merry Cherry
At only $3, this gloss is definetly worth trying!

I agree, I'm really impressed by the ELF lip glosses. Also glad to see they're not tested on animals. However the ingredients are as cheap as they can get. I'd prefer to pay a few bucks more for better ingredients, and if their products were made in the US instead.
