Fake a Tan: Jergen's Natural Glow Face Moisturizer
Every summer I always lay in the sun looking for the perfect tan, what do you expect? I live in Puerto Rico a tropical island where its temperature goes up to 100 degrees. This year I got a terrible sunburn that left my skin scared and blistered. So I got to be extra careful especially with my face, yet I really want to get tan and have that "summer glow" everybody looks for. The other day I was at CVS and saw the Jergen's Natural Face Glow Healthy Complexion Face Moisturizer. I've heard bad reviews as well as great reviews from this product, so I really don't know what to expect. Still, I really want to give it a try. So I've decided to record and blog about this product to see really how good it actually is.

I bought it yesterday, therefore when I went to bed I scrubbed my face (biore pore unclogging scrub), used my toner (neutrogena alcohol-free toner), and applied the Jergen's face moisturizer. The morning after I washed my face and also used this product. In the morning I didn't see any results and later during the day neither. I've been using a very thin layer because I read in some reviews that people get orange and that's what I'm most afraid of.
I'll be blogging more about this product during the week!

I won "Fake Bake" in a Total Beauty Contest. It is the greatest self tanner I have used, and secondly "Tan Towels." With Fake & Bake you can see where you are applying the lotion. It is completely goof proof. The only drawback is that it washes out the next time you take a shower. I really like Tan Towels. They are sheets, and they also have a lotion. It goes on evenly and is a natural color. It does not smell funny either.

I've used the Jergens Express (for body) on my face and had pretty good results. Be sure to rub it in well!

Thanks for sharing your process. I've found when I use self tanner at home it takes me about 4 to 6 days to really notice a difference. I wish it was more instant, but I guess that is what air brush tanning is for. Good luck and I look forward to hearing your updates.

The best self tanner I have ever used (and, I'm not "young" and have used a lot) is called Tan Towels. They have face and body towels sheets. They have a web site www.tantowels.com. You could even try www.amazon.com which might have them cheaper as they do for a lot of beaty products. I swear by these. They don't have that funny smell, glide right on your skin and you're not smearing some stinky lotion all over. I found the Jergens product didn't work for me either. That's when I discovered Tan Towels while watching HSN one day. Then, I thought - why not go right to the source where they were cheaper than ordering from HSN. Please try them. I guarantee you will be pleased. (They also have exfoliant sheets. too.) Carole VonAllten
