How To Get a Flawless Face Using Drugstore Products
The first step is to cleanse your skin of all the toxins and dirt that have built up over night. By using a salycic cleanser your pores will be cleansed and rejuvenated.![]()
A moisturizer will hydrate your skin and by adding spf it will protect it from sun damage. Smooth this all over your face and neck.![eucerin-face-lotion[1].jpg eucerin-face-lotion[1].jpg](http://media.kickstatic.com/kickapps/images/155778/photos/PHOTO_14400310_155778_25794782_ap_160X120.jpg)
This is one of my favorite drugstore foundations because it has a creamy texture which covers well and lasts all day. I like to use a flat headed kabuki brush such as: Physicins Formula Mineral Wear brush. Spread the foundation over the back of your hand and dip the brush in it gently, then using smooth circular motion run it along your face using more for added coverage.![physicians-formula-ulta-brushes-applicators-mineral-wear-airbrushing-kabuki-brush[1].jpg physicians-formula-ulta-brushes-applicators-mineral-wear-airbrushing-kabuki-brush[1].jpg](http://media.kickstatic.com/kickapps/images/155778/photos/PHOTO_14400411_155778_25794782_ap_100X75.jpg)

One of the biggest things I struggle with is dark circles and I was so blessed to pick this up at Walmart (Thank You CoverGirl!). You only need a little bit of this to conteract the purple darkness under your eyes. Using a small concealer brush apply this on the inner corner of the eye and on top of any darkness under the eye or on the lid. This also works to cover up any redness on blemishes also.![covergirl-concealer[1].jpg covergirl-concealer[1].jpg](http://media.kickstatic.com/kickapps/images/155778/photos/PHOTO_14400308_155778_25794782_ap_100X75.jpg)
I use this on top of the corrector because it evens out your skin and gives more coverage. Using your ring finger take a little bit of the concealer and gently pat it over the corrector or over uneven skin tone
Now to set your makeup and make it last all day use a loose translusent or skin tone correct powder over foundation and concealer. I have L'Oreal Translucide Powder in Translucent which doesn't change the color of my foundation. Using a fluffy brush dust this light- reflecting powder all over your face for a glowy finish.![thumb2[1].jpg thumb2[1].jpg](http://media.kickstatic.com/kickapps/images/155778/photos/PHOTO_14400325_155778_25794782_ap_160X120.jpg)
Ahh, blush, my favorite part of a beauty routine. I have the Maybelline Mineral Power Blush in both Light Mave and True Peach. Both work wonders to make my pale skin look alive and rosy. Take a medium sized fluffy brush, dip it in the powder and swirl over the apples of your cheeks and back into your hairline.![STP65464[1].JPG STP65464[1].JPG](http://media.kickstatic.com/kickapps/images/155778/photos/PHOTO_14400315_155778_25794782_ap_160X120.jpg)

Sounds like you've got some great finds. For concealer I use Benefit Erase Paste, which works really well, and is not that much more than Cover Girl. A little goes a long way. I guess I have moved away from drugstore brands as I've gotten older, but I will always use Maybelline Mascara. For blush I use Stila lip and cheek stain and Cargo powder blush. Just bought the old time "Indian Earth" bronzer from the 70's. The Vermont country Store carries things you haven't seen in years. It is the best bronzer. But, you can also use it as eyeshadow, lipstick, and even rub it onto your nails! I use L'Occitane Foaming Mousse to cleanse and St Ives Apricot Scrub for exfoliating. Getting ready to receive the supplies for a DIY moisturizer and skin tightener. Currently using Hydroxatone and Instant Relief for skin tightening. Carole VonAllten
