hair care causing acne?
it sounds weird i know but it kinda makes sense. ive written a blog before wondering why i have these tiny skin colored dots on my outer cheeks and chin. at night, my hair accidently falls on my face when i sleep. i think a reason some people break out out of the blue or have the same problem as me, might be because of their hair care.
my acne is most severe around my chin and outer cheeks, where my hair is usually near.... i looked up a blog just now of women experiencing breakouts from the shampoos and conditiones they were using and it was discussed that sodium lauryl sulfate may be the culprit. its been known to irritate buts its in almost everything from cosmetics to cleansers. it even used in high concentrations for car cleaners :/
im going to experiment with burts bees shampoos and see how i like it.

I always get moderate acne around my hairline. It's annoying!

Hair products can totally cause acne! We actually wrote about it in this story: http://www.beautyriot.com/makeup-beauty/13-reasons-youre-getting-zits-g7771 It definitely helps if you can keep your hair off your face as much as possible, especially when you're sleeping. I always put my hair in a loose bun at night so it doesn't end up on my face.

I agree to keep your hair in a bun while you sleep. Plus, when you wake up- you have loose waves!
