HELP!! Lip Conditioning Conundrum
I desperately want beautiful, soft, NORMAL SHAPED lips but, alas, I was not blessed with Jessica Alba's perfect pout. I have tried lip glosses, lip conditioners, lip SCRUBS and specially "prescribed from the makeup counter" lip treatments. Sometimes I get close but usually after a while either I stop using it the way that I'm supposed to or the formula itself loses it's traction and stops working.
I came up with the brilliant idea to begin a month long experiment. I am going to try three different lip conditioners, one on each quadrant of my mouth (top right, top left, bottom right; bottom left will be the control and will have no product) and see which of the four formulas softens and rejuvenates my lips.
This is where you, my wonderful fellow Lipgloss Addicts come in. I need you to list for me in the comments section below your go-to or favorite lip conditioning treatment, balm, whatever. Once I have my three, I'll begin my experiment.
I appreciate your help and look forward to applying my recently learned experimentation skills thanks to late in life college. ;-)

I like the Buxom lip gloss from Bare Escentuals. They are really great and great tasting. Plus they are more natural so you don't have to worry about harsh chemicals that might react weird on your skin or in your body.

@CaroleVonAllten It depends on the gloss. I have found a few glosses that actually don't need a liner. Which liners do you like? I have been using one by Sephora but I am not in love with it. thanks!

I would suggest using a lip liner that matches your lip gloss. I have found that lip gloss does not last. So, I put on lipstick (after the liner) and lip gloss on top. The liner helps you shapes your mouth, and the lipstick makes your gloss stay on.

I'm getting petting pink. It looks the prettiest and easiest to wear.

Use a softly colored lipstick from MAC and add lipgloss to the middle of your bottom lip. The lipstick won't fade and the lipgloss will give you a nice pout and shine.

How did this turn out for you? I think I wiggle my mouth around too much to keep the quadrants separate ;)
