Tame my oily scalp
The last time i went in for a hair cut, my stylist grilled me on why I was washing my hair everyday. I defended my everyday wash because of my oily hair. She went on and on about how i was drying out my ends and all I was doing was making it worse. I was just going in for a trim and it resulted in a life long lesson I would never forget.
I never thought I was making it worse, like it was my fault that I had oily hair. Soon enough enought I would realize, this lady was right. I began a regimen of washing my hair with less soap every other day, until I was only washing with shampoo every other day. At first i felt like the world was staring at my greasy strands, but I got started seeing improvement. My hair looked shinier and healthier, i had less split ends, and my scalp was not as oily. It was amazing, that I could free myself from shampoo and oily strands all at once.
Upon my great hair transformation I returned to my stylist. I think I made her proud when she saw my hair. Well thanks to her I have tamed my oily scalp. If you have an oily scalp its all about training your hair, give it a try.

Beautyrae, I totally get it, I love to have bangs, but omg my hair got so greasy that I had to do something about it. I think its really important to go with the flow of your scalp. If your drying out your scalp with a harsh shampoo every day your scalp will automatically want to produce more oil. So its better to really train your scalp and it will slowly begin to get better. :) I will try a coconut shampoo, maybe only once a week and the other days with my regular shampoo. I use the Tresemme Clarifying shampoo and its really helped me.

Ugh I have the same problem. Its soo noticeable with bangs too. I use coconut milk shampoo every other day and its done miracles for my hair but i have to be careful because coconut milk clogs pores
