This is the best for oily skin. Bare Escentuals. It is a mineral based powder and you can also get blush. Since it is a powder there is no oil, and it still covers like a liquid makeup, If you're near an ULTA store or Sephora, you get can a starter kit. Or you can order on-line at either company. I love ULTA because the employees are not snobby, like Sephora. I guarantee you will love this. I hope you can at least test it somewhere. You could even buy L'Oreal mineral powder - but they're not as good coverage as Bare Essentials. Also, after you wash your face with a non oily product, use an astrigent, and a very light moisturizer that does not contain oils. Staying away from any oil based product is the best. And, be sure to wear a good suncreen of at least 15 spf. The higher the better; and, as you already know, black women also get darker in the sun and run the risk of premature aging and skin cancer. I recommend Kiehl's face care products. They are located inside department stores, like Macy's, Nordstom, Dillards. The big ones. But, call first to the mall to ensure they are located in your mall. We have 2 major malls in Albuquerque; one Dillards carries Kiehl's and the other doesn't. There prices are not expensive either. Not like Clinique, Lancome etc. They are actually affordable. Just so you know and can trust me, I am a cosmetology/esthetician student with straight A's. Plus I am a HUGE fanatic about what goes on my face. Good luck, Carole VonAllten
