Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine= Lovee

So I love Garnier Fructis products! My newest obsession is the sleek and shine collection. It is in green packaging and smells delicious! I discovered this about two years ago, but rediscovered it about a month ago.

From the collection I use the:

• Shampoo
• Conditioner
• Anit-Frizz serum

I also use two of their mousses, Construct a Curl and XXL Volume and Thickening mousse, and the Curl Construct spray gel.

Let me start out by telling you my routine. I shampoo my hair and then put in conditioner. When I put in the conditioner I use a good amount (Because I have long, thick hair) and run a wide tooth comb through the ends of my hair. I let it sit while I do the rest of my shower and then wash it out at the end. This helps to achieve the softness. When I get out of the shower I towel dry my hair and apply around one pump of the serum to my hair focusing on the length. Then I towel dry some more. Sometimes I apply both mousses sometimes I only apply one. So if I were to apply the volume mousse I would focus on the roots and run it through the length with my fingers. If I were to apply the curl mousse I would scrunch it all the way through my hair. I use about a little less than a handful of mousse. Then, depending on how much time I have, I either blowdry with a diffuser, or air dry. If there are places that need extra hold I will spray gel wherever needed.

Now I'm going to tell you about each product.

Shampoo

I absolutely love this shampoo! It smells great and gets my hair clean and leaves it very shiny.

Conditioner

Same for the conditioner. Smells great, leaves my hair soft and very shiny! I highly recomend both the shampoo and conditioner.

Serum

This serum is one of the best I have ever used! I really fell in love with it because it makes your hair extremely soft! If you are looking for a serum this one is awesome! It also makes your hair very shiny. While some serums leave your hair feeling oily after a while, this one doesn't (given you haven't put too much on).

Curl Mousse

To me most mousses are the same. I liked this one but didn't love it. I recommend it but wouldn't be telling you about it if I hadn't done a blog on my Garnier Fructis products. It has a really strong hold which I like. The smell, though, is not my favorite. Plus side is it doesn't fell sticky after it soaks in and dries.

XXL Mousse

This mousse promises thicker hair with more volume, which I personally did not achieve. I still use it for styling mousse but not for the reasons it's supposed to work. I put it in my roots and it just wieghed it down and fell flat. I would not recommend this for a volume mouse at all. It's one of the few Garnier Fructis products I did not like.

Curl Construct Spray Gel

I haven't used many spray gels but this one is pretty good. Most other spray gels were not as thick or holding but this one has a great hold. The only down side is that it can be very sticky. Also, you have to watch the amount that you put in, it can build up easily.
