Skin-Caring Ingredients

Green Tea - Green tea contains poly phenols, particularly catechins. Green tea also contains carotenoids, tocopherols, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), minerals such as chromium, manganese, selenium or zinc, and certain phytochemical compounds. It is a more potent antioxidant than black tea (PG Tips, that kinda tea) although black tea has substances which green tea does not such as theaflavin. All of these are amazing for the health of your body and skin.

Free Radicals - these are everyday what build up and accumulate in the skin and body and can degrade cells causing ageing and cancers, ways to neutralise these are through good skin care and health, good amounts of vitamins A,C and E are a tried and tested method of protection to neutralise before they wreck havoc on your skin and good looks.

Paraben - Paraben's (Methyl, Propyl etc) these are preservatives used in cosmetic products because they are such low cost, however there is so much controversy over these in skin care with links to cancer being found, mostly named breast cancer - they have been found in extremely low concentrations in breast cancer tumors. Higher priced products use different or more natural preservatives and some totally make products paraben free, however even high priced brands will sometimes contain these nasty preservatives, a personal favourite product line of mine is doTERRA they don’t use these ingredients however use incredibly caring ones instead (check out the reviews on the products to see more)

Glycolic Acid - exfoliates and brightens

Liquorice Extract - soothes and reduces dark spots & pigmentation

Silk Proteins – smoothing

Hyaluronic Acid - Sourced from Wheat, boosts hydration and leaves the skin looking plumped .

Activated Marine Algae Complex - serves as a potent anti-inflammatory to stop cellular signals that often serve as a precursor to large pores. Resulting more even toned skin.

Vitamin K- helps to fade the appearance of broken capillaries by reducing the tendency of blood to seep out of capillaries into the area under the skins' surface.

Bearberry- is a natural source of hydroquinone, a potent skin lightener which gently brightens discoloration of the skin.

Arnica- disperses dried blood surrounding the capillary walls and bruised tissue. Improves blood circulation, reducing swelling and healing skin damage.

Bioflavonoids- is found in the white of the rind of citrus fruits, they keep capillary walls strong and healthy and reduce vascular fragility.
