ABOUT TO DYE MY HAIR!!!!
I'm about to dye my hair..again. I do it every few months. Its nothing drastic, just dark brown to black. I love dying my hair, even though its not a drastic change where everyone will say " oh wow, your new hair color" lol...but I notice, plus I love the way my hair feels after using the conditoner it comes with.
I use Garnier's Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme in Black (#10). I recommend this brand to anyone.
Here's a pic of my hair right now before I dye it( like i said its not much of difference) but I will post what it looks like afterwards.
I dont know if you can tell, but see how's theres some brassy, orangie highlights, when i start to see that thats when I know its time to dye my hair)
I'll be back ina little while when im all done to post the after picture
So here's the after pic. My hair smells so good, i wish there was a shampoo I could buy that made my hair smell like this all the time!

Yea, i definitly learned some tips from doing it for years. -Dont dye your hair if it has lots of product in it and dont dye it the same day you washed it. - Its a lot easier to get every strand if you section your hair. I do three sections: one on top, one in the middle and then on the bottom - Its so easy to drip the dye onto your shirt, arms, the bathroom sink (or wherever your dying your hair) and on your face, if you put a thin coat of vaseline around your hairline the dye wont stain or at least will come off easily. I cover my sink and counters with paper towels or old towels. I learned the hard way by staining my moms cabinet (she wasnt to happy) lol - even if yur wearing an old t-shirt still wrap an old towel or smock around you so it doesnt drip on your neck.

Cool! Sounds like you're pretty experienced with at-home hair dyeing, any tips you've picked up along the way?
