Beauty Product of the Week: Kiehl's Photo-Age Skin Care
I've been a fan of Kiehl's for a long time. I remember the day when the company first arrived at my local Nordstroms: I was 17 years old. It took one sampling of the classic Kiehl's #1 lip balm to sell me for the rest of my life.
I'm way past the youthful days when a nice dab of lip balm was all I needed for a night on the town. So you can imagine how happy I was to find Kiehl's new Photo-Age Corrector ready for sampling right on my desk. While I've worn sunscreen most of my life, I'm still a California kid who's spent a bit too much time in the sun. I was really curious to see how this product would treat some "sun-kissed" spots.
The line features four products, which is great for me because I'm always trying to lessen my product load (it's hard work, believe me).
After using this line for the last two weeks I can honestly say that my skin feels touchably smoother. I love the gentle exfoliation that I get when I wash my face, neck and décolleté area. The toner is not drying at all, in fact, it feels hydrating and the moisturizer (though light) really leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturized. A little goes a long way too with these products -- I only use a tiny amount of product (half the size of a dime). The exfoliating cleanser helped me get rid of some dead cell buildup that was causing me to break out a little by my hairline too.
I haven't noticed any significant decrease in discoloration using the spot treatment, but I have only used it for two weeks so that might not be enough time.
Overall though, I love this skin care line. My skin feels soft, hydrated and above all -- I glow. Definitely worth a try!
