Beauty Product of the Week: VMV Hypoallergenics Subtle Shine Lipstick

Hey everyone! Being that I'm possibly the luckiest gal in the world, in that my job keeps me surrounded by beauty products every day, I've decided to start a weekly blog where I will share my favorite product of the week. I'll cover everything from makeup to skin care and everything else in between.OK, let's get started!
One of my New Year's resolutions was to be more bold with my looks: fashion, hair and, of course, beauty. When it comes to lips, there really is no better way to go bold than with a classic matte red lipstick (thank you Marilyn Monroe). The problem is that I don't feel like I can always pull off the full-blown red, and it certainly doesn't go with every outfit. So, as you can imagine, I was super excited to stumble across this adorably packaged lipstick from VMV Hypoallergenics. I found it on one of our editor's desks and was first struck by how cute the shade name is, "Fifi".
I opened the silver tube to discover a gorgeous magenta shade that isn't as intense as a true red, but still makes a bold statement.
I've been wearing it for the last few days now and loving it. I definitely have to do a re-apply mid-day and after I eat, but other than that it stays on relatively well. It glides on smoothly too, so I don't mind reapplying. If you have sensitive skin like I do then you'll love the fact that this lipstick is fragrance, preservative, allergen and dye free too.
I think I might have found a new love … in terms of color and product, that is.
