Quest 4 False Look Mascara & Black Matte Shadow!

Hi and HELP!
I am desperate to find a dramatic, false eyelash look mascara! I think I've been to every review site there is! I was leaning towards "Falsies" by Maybelline, but found some very unimpressed users here. I don't want "natural" at ALL. I'm all about the Glam! I find stellar reviews on one site but others saying the same is gloppy, flakes, etc. I wonder if some complaints are from mainstream women who just want more volume. I'm an urban rocker chick, rarely seen without black liner. I'm willing to spend more for a great product. Also, I'm having a hard time locating black and white matte shadows! A collection could be fun. I'm new at bargain makeup (necessity), and can't afford another glittery shadow mistake. I live in San Francisco, so drugstores, Sephora, etc., will work. Target, Walmart, etc., don't exist. Suggestions would be much appreciated!!! THANKS

If you are really looking for some mega-lashes, i've got some mascara for you. You have to try Maybelline, Lash Stiletto... I swear this is the best mascara i've ever bought, and this is what i'll use until they quit making it..lol.. Oh, and if you are already lash-gifted, OMG, you gotta try this.

Thanks both! I like that you've both gone for Maybelline, but not the Falsies, which, by name alone sounded right up my mega glam ally. I have thought about Stilletto, because I like the gloss they talk about.Even if it's not really glossy, I'm thinking it will give more pigmantation than others. The other thought was using a volume and lengthening. Then there was my own concept (based on reviews) of trying the RImmel Lash Accelerator with the volume formula stilletto. What think? Seems people are seeing real result from the Accellerator. My lashes were always long, but not so dense. In recent years with severe illness, I'm losing more AND my lashes are no longer leaving spots on the brow bone when I open too quickly after application. They just look shorter to me too. So, maybe... HUH? Hoping? Any thoughts on my trial? THe one thing that's keeping me from heading to Walgreens is if they don't work or only give the couple of months of use, I'm at Chanel prices. I've never used the Chanel or Mac mascaras. Comparison there? I currently have a bit set aside for cosmetics. This would mean sacrificing an item or two, but I'd have the mascara so much longer. And, where's a rock giam girl - Miss DRAMA without fabulous lashes? Isn't the stilleto the one with the tube type things that give that extra, extension look? Sounds fab!
