Holiday Look: Teal Eyeliner

Hey everyone! So I promised I'd share the different holidays looks i was trying out this season. This past weekend I had my company party and I also hosted an "Ugly Sweater" party for my friends.
I decided to go bold. After all at an "Ugly Sweater" party you really can do no wrong as your outfit is already, well ... ugly. Normally as a brunette with dark brown eyes I've shyed away from bold colors around my eyes (favoring neutral golds, browns and coppers) but I'm really glad I took a chance. Here is how it turned out. I was really happy with the look and think it would look great on anyone with similar features or blue eyes too. All my friends loved it too. See sometimes stepping outside of your comfort zone pays off.

I love teal eyeliner! I have brown eyes too and I think it's a nice contrast, plus it's so much fun and a really easy way to get a dramatic makeup look. I usually use Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow in Peace and a liner brush.

cool, i'll have to totally check that out. Whats the price? i hate paying hefty money for makeup when you can get good or better when you go to walmart :)

I used Lock and Roll 12 Hour Eyeshadow from Tarte. They weren't lying when they said 12 hour btw...that stuff stays on. I will say that I got in over the summer though and I think it might be seasonal as I dont' see it on their website. :( They do have other colors though :) http://tartecosmetics.com/tarte-item-lock-and-roll
